The name AM-PACK is an acronym which is short for Advanced Management Package. AM-PACK extends and complements Polarion ALM, a software product of Siemens Digital Industries Software Inc., Pleno, Texas, USA, in such a way that – without any prior customer-specific customization – an optimal, integrated tool system is available for the standard-compliant and cost-effective development of sophisticated components of cyber-physical systems such as vehicles, machines and plants.

The symbiosis of the two products combines the strengths of Polarion ALM in artifact-oriented and document-oriented product data management and the strengths of AM-PACK in the organisation of development processes and projects.
